My name is Raúl Redondo. I am a product designer (UX-UI-Interaction) researcher and professor. I am interested in design processes and methodologies that produce reflective and meaningful results that provoke and invite action. I like to work with people open to internal change. Unless they are like that, they may not be able to cause any change around them by themselves.
I am looking for people who do not fear the difficult way, who want to develop where there is nothing prepared or done for them. As a designer I enjoy sharing and creating processes, because I firmly believe that learning is in the process.
I understand design as a heuristic, multidisciplinary science, in which the observation of users, their environment and how they interact with it, is a key reference when designing something truly participatory and socially enriching.
As a User Experience and Product Designer, I have worked for companies such as Bank Santander, Accenture, the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Telefónica or Citibank. Also for start-ups like Ryne in San Francisco, Acurable in London or Tuenti in Spain. I’m currently focused on User Experience, Product Design, and Interaction for the web, apps, enterprise applications, and artificial intelligence. I also work with developer tools and data visualization.
For more than 15 years, I have formally practiced yoga and meditation, disciplines that combine Eastern wisdom with the most current psychology and good humor.
